Aloha BioTech — Help Us Develop the Next Generation of Sustainable Materials
We are developing a repeatable bio-composite material platform for additive manufacturing, prototypes and future industrial applications.
The formulation is still under research. Our work combines material development, practical prototyping and independent testing before any technical or environmental properties are treated as verified.
The programme at a glance
A practical research path from early formulations to tested demonstrators and pilot-scale preparation.
Research objective
Develop a functional, repeatable biodegradable bio-composite granulate with useful processing and mechanical performance.
First milestone
€50,000
Material-development equipment, raw materials, formulation work, granulation and initial demonstrators.
Long-term potential
Additive manufacturing, prototypes, consumer products, packaging, technical components and other suitable industrial uses.
Why this research matters
A sustainable origin alone is not enough. A useful material also needs stable processing, repeatable quality, moisture resistance and appropriate mechanical and thermal performance.
A material platform—not a predetermined recipe
The final formulation will be selected through evidence. Biopolymers, renewable raw materials, natural fibres and locally available biological side streams are possible inputs, but only tested combinations will move forward.
€150,000 full research programme
The programme is divided into four accountable development stages.
Material development
€50,000
Equipment, raw materials, formulations, granulation and functional prototypes.
Testing & validation
€40,000
Mechanical, thermal and moisture analysis plus independent laboratory studies.
Pilot production
€35,000
Process optimisation, larger batches, filament development and demonstrator products.
Scale-up & protection
€25,000
Documentation, certification preparation, intellectual-property assessment and commercial planning.
How the material is developed
Each stage produces evidence for the next decision.
Choose how you want to help
Individuals, companies, laboratories and research organisations can participate in different ways.
Support the research
Make a one-time contribution toward materials, equipment, prototypes and independent testing.
Choose a support amount →Become a research partner
Collaborate on material characterisation, mechanical or thermal testing, biodegradability studies or future applications.
Discuss a partnership →Provide materials or equipment
Support a defined development stage with suitable raw materials, laboratory access, specialist services or equipment.
Tell us what you can provide →Support transparent, evidence-led research
Research support is not an investment. Supporters receive no shares, interest, profit participation or financial return. Biodegradability, compostability and technical performance remain research objectives until independently verified.
